We are actively supporting TGS with consultants assisting ongoing and planned multiclient projects, providing all required local support and assistance. The latest success of TGS and Fameline Energy was the signature of a 15-years contract with Ganoub El Wadi in Egypt for multiclient surveys in Upper Egypt and Red Sea (collaboration of TGS with WesternGeco).

For the Red Sea, the acquisition of 2D seismic data and reprocessing of legacy data has been completed, leading to the successful completion of the First International Bid Round for Oil & Gas Exploration in the Red Sea. Based on the data, Chevron, Shell and Mubadala have been awarded 4 offshore concessions.

For Upper Egypt, TGS in collaboration with AustinBridgeporth started in 2Q2020 acquiring data utilising the most advanced airborne technology – eFTG (enhanced Full Tensor Gradiometry). Upper’s Egypt eFTG will be the first survey globally using the technology, and it will allow E&P companies to gain a better understanding on the potential of such a frontier area.
